Khatereh Baharikhoob

B.Arch, MUD, RPP, MCIP, OALA, CSLA


Co-Founder and Principal

Khatereh is an experienced urban designer, registered professional planner, and landscape architect. For more than 15 years, she has helped institutions, cities, and communities imagine what's possible and transform those ambitions into places that shape how people live, learn, connect, and belong.


Her work spans several award winning campus master plans, waterfront revitalization, urban regeneration, mixed-use districts, and public realm strategies across Canada, bringing together design excellence, long-term vision, and a deep commitment to creating resilient, people-centered communities. She is particularly passionate about the role of design in addressing society’s most pressing challenges, from housing and climate adaptation to social inclusion and community well-being.


An IAP2-certified engagement practitioner, Khatereh is known for bridging bold ideas with meaningful collaboration, using engagement not as a project requirement but as a catalyst for better outcomes. Through listening, strategic facilitation and storytelling, she helps diverse stakeholders build consensus around ambitious futures.


Beyond practice, Khatereh is an active voice in the design profession as a speaker, guest lecturer, juror, and mentor. She currently serves on the City of Markham Design Review Panel (DRP) and is committed to advancing a more innovative, inclusive, and impactful future for planning and design.

Shahryar Nowzari

B.Arch, MUD, M.Arch, OAA, AIBC


Co-Founder and Principal

With more than 12 years of experience practicing architecture in Canada, Shahryar is a licensed architect registered with both the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) and the Architectural Institute of British Columbia (AIBC). Throughout his career, he has contributed to projects of varying scales and complexities, guiding them from early design concepts through construction and completion.


His portfolio includes custom and bespoke residences across Ontario and British Columbia, as well as sports and recreation facilities, community centres, commercial developments, higher education, transit infrastructure, and entertainment venues. This diverse experience has shaped a versatile design approach grounded in creativity, technical excellence, and a strong understanding of client needs.


From concept design to project completion, Shahryar enjoys guiding clients through every stage of the design process, turning ideas into spaces that are both functional and memorable. He is passionate about thoughtful design and believes that architecture’s mission is to improve how people live, work, and connect with their communities.


When he’s not designing, you’ll likely find him travelling, enjoying soccer, exploring new music, or spending time outdoors, always finding inspiration in the people and places around him.
